As a leading NGO in Uttar Pradesh, SS Sansthan has worked for more than four decades to advance health, education, women’s empowerment, and rural development. Our projects bridge policy and people, ensuring that every initiative brings measurable and meaningful impact to the communities we serve.
Since FY 2015–16, SSS has partnered with the Water and Sanitation Mission (U.P.) to execute IEC/BCC campaigns across 11 districts including Shahjahanpur, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Kasganj, Jhansi, Auraiya, Ghaziabad, Firozabad, Kaushambi, Rampur, and Sambhal. Covering 5,763 Gram Panchayats and reaching over 22.6 lakh beneficiaries, these initiatives have improved safe drinking water access, public health, nutrition, and sanitation in JE/AES-affected regions.

We have also partnered with the Departments of Women & Child Development, Human Resource Development, Social Justice & Empowerment, and Mahila Kalyan Nigam, U.P., supporting programs in adult education, women’s safety, vocational training, and rehabilitation. Driven by a participatory development approach, SS Sansthan works closely with beneficiaries, local communities, and government agencies to ensure accountability, inclusivity, and sustainable growth.
